Oracle Cards
"The answers are right there waiting for you but if you’re like so many people, you likely stopped paying attention to your intuition at a very early age.
Have no fear because it’s there waiting to support you."
~ Colette Baron-Reid
Oracle and Tarot cards are simple but powerful tools to divine messages with cards. When you come for a card reading you will sit silently for a moment, focusing your intentions and settling into your breath. You will select a deck letting inspiration guide you. You might find it helpful to hold a deck and see how it makes you feel—the right one should energize you. I will ask you to connect your energy with the deck you selected and ask it (silently) your question. Concentrate on your question so your cards can "hear" it clearly and absorb it. I will connect to the cards and begin to shuffle them while asking "Do you have any guidance for (name) and the question they are asking?". Some cards may jump out of the deck while shuffling. These cards will be placed to the side as they have a message to pay attention to. If no cards reveal themselves we will lay the cards out and read the messages provided. After discussing the cards and their messages, you will have the time to absorb the information and ask additional questions. You may find it beneficial to have a journal with during your reading to take notes for follow-up and reflection later.
Rider Waite Tarot Deck
The classic Rider-Waite Tarot is the best known Tarot deck. The vibrant cards, featuring full scenes with figures and symbols, were drawn in 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith under direction of Arthur Edward Waite. Rider-Waite Tarot has set the standard for hundreds of other tarot decks, which follow the archetypal images. An innovative 78-card tarot deck that would come to be recognized as revolutionary with descriptive pictures on the 56 Minor Arcana cards, the Rider-Waite deck digressed from the tradition of tarot deck used for centuries. It is the most well-known and it set the standard for nearly every tarot deck published since.
